Competitive Tracking are pleased to announce that we now have units that have full integration with a vehicles ECU/Canbus system, this gives us all the Fuel data direct out of the vehicle so we can give true MPG figures, we also pull other data including Cruise Control use, Excessive Throttle and use this mainly for our Driver performance and league table reporting suite. The improvement of MPG but can also include full Tachograph link which uses the drivers Tachograph card as the driver ID, real-time tachograph hours and remote Tachograph downloading can also be achieved. Clients who have the canbus integration system typically improve the MPG’s by more than 10%, this is a vast amount of money saved especially of trucks which average between 7 & 8 MPG.
